Last Winter I took a class in marbling from the wonderful artist and owner of Shandells, Susan Schneider. This scarf is made from one of her incredible creations. This silk has been marbled on both sides, making it reversible. Once side is deep colors of raspberry, cream, apricot, periwinkle and gray. The other side is pale aqua, tobacco and lavender and peach. No two marbled pieces are ever alike. It is an art form that originated in Turkey and flourishes in Italy as well. Susan has continued this old world craft at her studio in the Berkshires. Her work has been featured in many magazines including Architectural Digest and House Beautiful. Printed on 100% silk and finished with our triple thread edge. Made in the USA.
