Special Project Completed

This Spring we worked with the artist Frances Liscio on a scarf for the Montclair Art Museum. 20% of all sales go to support this fine arts institution. We have more projects in the works for other upcoming events and these collaborations go to the heart of what we are all about -  creating scarves that give in all different ways.

Scarf School Tip # 1

Look out…big color trend coming our way is yellow. It's great as an accent piece to add zing to your basics. By combining a color that is unexpected to your wardrobe you can be trendy and still keep it lighthearted and fun. And the great thing I tell all our customers when it comes to how to wear your scarves…the messier the better. There is no right or correct way to wear a scarf…get creative…find your own signature style and smile, sunshine!

Hello all! Here are the highlights of our very first newsletter-

We are happy to announce three upcoming Fall/Holiday season events. We invite you to come see our new scarf designs and learn fun ways to wear your scarves. Each event has a different twist! Below the details of each are outlined.

1. Leslie Ford Event- Sunday, November 8th from 1-4pm, Manufacturers Village, 356 Glenwood Avenue, East Orange, NJ.

Artist Leslie Ford is opening her studio during the annual Artist Studio Tour. We have reproduced a series of her works onto fine silk habotai. The collaboration will be showcased. 2. Get a Gift + Give a Gift- Sunday, November 15th from 1-5pm in Montclair, NJ.

Anne and Susan Krien from Happenstance Creations have teamed up for an open house event. A percentage of the afternoons sales will go to a local cause in need of support. Bring your friends and feel great knowing that your purchase will help community members in need. Event invitations and details coming soon!

3. NYC Curated Event- Thursday, December 3rd, all day at the Junior League Headquarters, E. 80th Street.

Archivie was chosen for the curated Golden Tree shopping event. We are very excited about this one. If you live in New York or happen to be in the city on this day, definitely stop by! There will be an abundance of one-of-a-kind items. This is the place to discover up and coming designers.

Leslie Ford Collaboration

Our first artist's collaboration is complete! Here we visit Leslie Ford for an afternoon in her influential studio.

Inspired by her Window Wall series, we have printed three different color ways interpreting the collection. The collaboration title, "Landscape of Mind", is printed on the scarves. Each vertical and horizontal swath of color represents the views looking out from ancient castle slits.
