Special Project : Doves Scarf-UN Blue

I am so honored to have the opportunity to design a scarf with the internationally acclaimed potter and artist Miranda Thomas in support of the worldwide humanitarian efforts of the United Nations Association of New York. The quote chosen for this design is by Eleanor Roosevelt, one of the original founders of the UNA. It reads, " The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." Special thanks goes to Ann Nicol, the Executive Director of the UNA/NY for her vision in bringing about this collaboration in creating a scarf that truly gives back in so many ways. Fascinating to listen to Ban Ki-Moon's words of wisdom, as it is the last year of his tenure as Secretary General of the UNited Nations.  The actress Michelle Yeoh and UN Special Envoy for Road Safety Jean Todt gave riveting presentations.

Special Project - Seton Hall Prep

When it comes to wearing wise words - nothing beats Latin. We designed two scarves for Seton Hall Prep: one sporty and the other sophisticated. " Per Fidem Non Per Specimen - Hazard Zet Forward" translates to     " By Faith, Not by Ideal - Whatever the Peril, Ever Forward". Woof Scarf - Meet the artist

What a treat to have the opportunity to work with the talented artist Claire Fletcher and bring to life her wonderful illustrations of dogs on this scarf design. Claire studied graphic design and illustration at Central School of art, Kensignton University and the Royal College of Art. She co-founded and is the director of Made in Hastings, a shop selling locally sourced  gifts and artwork in England. Special Project Completed

This Spring we worked with the artist Frances Liscio on a scarf for the Montclair Art Museum. 20% of all sales go to support this fine arts institution. We have more projects in the works for other upcoming events and these collaborations go to the heart of what we are all about -  creating scarves that give in all different ways.
